Archive material and source history
Banda Fine formed in São Paulo in 2001 with a lineup that included Wesley Safadão on vocals and guitar, Xand Avião on accordion and vocals, Solange Almeida on vocals and tambourine, Marlus Viana on bass, and Marquinhos Maraial on keyboard. They started playing local bars and clubs, building a following with their energetic performances.
Their debut album 'Me Liga' came out in 2004, with the title track reaching the top of Brazilian charts. They followed with albums like 'Paraíso do Vaqueiro' in 2005 and 'Meu Vaqueiro, Meu Peão' in 2006. Their song 'Mais uma vez' became particularly popular, and they also recorded 'Ter você'.
In 2011, Solange Almeida left the band after a public dispute with other members. Their music sometimes touched on themes of rural life and social issues alongside more straightforward romantic material.
