Banda For All formed in São Paulo in 1998 with Ricardo Almeida on vocals, Humberto Gessinger on guitar, Beto Sussekind on bass, and André Jung on drums. Their first album came out in 2000, followed by others like 'Piloto Automático' in 2002 and 'Confirmação e Recomeço' in 2005.
Their song 'Na Direção' became particularly well-known in Brazil. The band's lyrics sometimes addressed social and political topics, which drew some criticism early on.
They kept recording through the 2000s, putting out 'Vozes de Guerra' in 2010. The group blended pop and rock with Brazilian rhythms, though they weren't trying to fit neatly into any one tradition.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
