Banda Hermano Lopez

Banda Hermano López formed in 1964 in El Rosario, Sinaloa, started by brothers Raymundo and Esteban López. They played local weddings and festivals, working in traditional banda styles.

Their catalog includes songs like "El Mechón," "El Nuevo Amor de Mi Mujer," and "Las Mil Y Una Noche." The group has seen lineup changes over time, with Raymundo López continuing as director. They've worked with other regional Mexican artists, including Julio Preciado.

In 1987, lead singer Esteban López died in a car accident. The band kept performing after that. There was a legal dispute in 2005 involving a former director, but the details are less important than the music they've made.

They put out albums like "Con Todo Mi Amor" in 1985 and "50 Años de Orgullo y Tradición" in 2014. Their songs still get played at parties and family gatherings across Mexico and beyond.
