Banda Heróis formed in Porto Alegre in 2008, started by four childhood friends: Israel Lucero on vocals, Rodrigo Damiani on guitar, Vitor Isensee on bass, and Estevan Sinkovitz on drums. They played local clubs and festivals, building a following with straightforward pop-rock that drew from Brazilian popular music as much as classic rock. Their debut album 'Heróis de Verdade' came out in 2010 and included 'De Mal Com o Relógio,' a song about time constraints that became a national hit.
After Lucero left the band in 2014, Isensee took over lead vocals. They kept recording, putting out albums like 'Vidas Particulares' in 2015 and 'Só Pra Gostar' in 2017. Some of their other songs include 'Entre Nós Dois' and 'Te Esquecer.' In 2016, they performed at a political rally, which drew criticism from some fans and media outlets.
The band's lineup now is Damiani, Isensee, and Sinkovitz. They released another album called 'Essencial' in 2020.
