Banda MaBl formed in São Paulo in 2016, started by Bruno Martini, Gui Boratto, and Leo Janeiro. They worked with producer Rick Bonadio on their debut album 'Tudo o Que Eu Sempre Quis' in 2018, which included the song 'Carmesim.' That track got radio play and did well on Brazilian charts.
They followed with albums called 'Aurora' in 2019 and 'Maré' in 2021. Other songs like 'Nem Sempre' and 'Reclusa' are among their better-known work. In 2020, there was some talk about similarities in another song of theirs, 'Luz do Sol,' but that got sorted out.
