In 2006, Magá Moura was arrested for marijuana possession, which brought media attention. The band released several albums including their self-titled debut in 2002, "Ao Vivo No Canecão" in 2004, and "Axé de Verão" in 2007. Other members included Alan Moraes on guitar, Ulisses Santana on bass, Samuel Silva on drums, and Jorjão on keyboards.
