Their 1983 debut 'Amor de Mulher' gave Brazilian romantic music staples like 'Vem Ficar Comigo', a song that still feels lived-in. Even after Nelson Ned's passing in 2014, his daughter Kelly Ned took over vocals, and the band kept performing straightforward tunes like 'Amor de Verdade' that never lost their appeal.

Formed in Salvador in the early 1980s, they disbanded in the mid-1990s and reunited in 2002. The lineup shifted after Nelson Ned's death, with original members and new drummer Neno carrying on.
