Banda Pintus

Banda Pintus formed in Porto Alegre, Brazil in the late 1990s when childhood friends Cadu Pituco, Rafael Bisogno, and Daniel Castilhos started playing together. They worked through local bars and open mics, developing a sound that some critics dismissed as too melancholic. Their song 'A Dor da Solidão' came out in 2003 and connected with listeners who recognized its raw vulnerability.

That song became a hit across Brazil, though it also brought criticism from some who questioned whether the band was exploiting emotional pain. They kept recording through the years, putting out albums like 'Acústico' in 2008, 'Ao Vivo' in 2012, and 'O Vento Não Sabe' in 2019. Their music stayed focused on lyrical depth and straightforward musicianship rather than chasing trends.
