Banda R.A.D formed in Rio de Janeiro in 2014 around vocalist Bruno Cardozo and drummer Rodrigo Capozzi. They later added bassist Fabricio Baggio and guitarist Thiago Oliveira. Their sound pulls from funk, soul, and electronic dance music, with some samba, reggae, and hip-hop in the mix.
Their track "Bem Zen" became a significant hit. In 2018, the band faced plagiarism allegations regarding that song, which they denied. They've released albums like "Nao Era So," "Funk de Verdade," and a live record. They've worked with artists including Anitta and Tropkillaz.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
