After some early lineup changes, they settled with bassist Leo Jaime and drummer Marcos Lobos. Their first album came out in 2004, the same year their song 'Uma Árvore de Veneno' became a breakthrough single.
Their music mixed rock, reggae, and Brazilian popular music in a way that felt natural rather than calculated. Songs like 'Palavras de Vidro' and 'Sem Expectativas' showed how they could write melodies that stuck with you without sounding like they were trying too hard.
