Banda Rosa da Selva came out of São Paulo with a sound that mixed samba, funk, and rock. Their 2004 debut album was called 'Rosa da Selva,' and two years later they put out 'Perdeu, Perdeu.' The title track from that second record, 'Perdeu, Perdeu (Adeus Goodbye),' became their breakout hit.
Thaís Nascimento sang lead for the band. In 2007, they won the Prêmio Multishow for Best Brazilian Rock Band.
