Banda Seed formed in São Paulo in the mid-1990s, with Samuel Rosa as their frontman. Their debut album 'A Verdade Sobre o Amor' came out in 1996, followed by 'Por Onde For' in 1999. The 2003 album 'Viva a Vida' included the song 'Eu não quero mais você,' which became widely known.
Guitarist Henrique Portugal left the band in 2002. In 2009, they faced plagiarism accusations over the song 'Eu Sei Namorar,' which they stopped performing live. Other songs in their catalog include 'Primeiro Beijo' and 'Verde.'
Their albums include 'Sempre É Hoje' from 2001, 'Bandeira' from 2005, and 'Sinfonica' from 2008. Later releases were 'O Futuro Não Demora' in 2011, 'Ensaio Sobre a Poesia' in 2014, and 'Novos Horizontes' in 2017. The band's lineup has included Felipe Leal on bass, Adriano Cintra on guitar, and Ricardo Leão on drums.
