They released their debut album 'Samba Sem Fronteiras' in 1998, blending samba and funk rhythms that caught attention in Brazil.
Their 2000 album included 'Jardim do Coração,' a ballad written by Santos that became their most recognizable song. The track 'Viagem pra Paris' and 'Benção de Maré' also appeared among their popular recordings during this period.
In 2002, the group faced plagiarism accusations regarding 'Jardim do Coração,' though the allegations were eventually dismissed. Internal conflicts among members led to lineup changes and periods where the band was less active.
