Their lyrics sometimes got them into trouble. The band worked with other Bahian artists like Margareth Menezes and Ivete Sangalo. They also recorded 'Eu Amo Te Amo Te Amo,' another of their popular songs.
Luiz Caldas sang lead and wrote many of their songs. Mário Reis played guitar, and Ivan Moura handled keyboards and arrangements. Their sound stayed fairly consistent through the late 1990s and early 2000s, built around danceable rhythms and playful, sometimes cheeky lyrics.
