Banda Teens came together in São Paulo around 2007, put together by producer Marcelo Barbosa. The group had five members at the start: Nathan Camargo, Gabi Luthai, Flávia Mendonça, Ana Paula Souza, and Carlos Alberto. Their first single, "É Por Isso," came out in 2008 and caught on quickly with younger listeners.
That song's success led to albums like "Dance Dance Dance" in 2009 and "Baby Beija Eu" in 2011. They toured a lot during those years, playing to big crowds of teenagers. The lineup changed in 2012 when Ana Paula Souza left the group, and they continued as a quartet. Other songs from that period include "Ela É Tão Comum" and "Eu Sentirei."
