Banda UnDead formed in Mexico with Javier Hernández on vocals, Alejandro Romero on guitar, Roberto Sánchez on bass, José Gutiérrez on drums, and Carlos Flores on saxophone. They released their first album 'El Inframundo' in 2011, followed by 'Sombras del Pasado' in 2014 and 'El Retorno' in 2019.
Their 2016 album 'Teus Olhos' included the song of the same name, which became one of their better-known tracks along with 'Vidros.' The band's music often mixed rock with Mexican folk elements, though some listeners found their lyrics provocative.
In 2017, drummer José Gutiérrez left the group, and Carlos Flores took over on drums while continuing to play saxophone. The band kept recording and performing after that change.
