Banda Whatslove formed in 2002 when childhood friends Leandro Lehart, Murilo Lima, and Bruno Castro started playing together. Their debut album 'O Que É Que Eu Vou Fazer' came out soon after, featuring the single 'Me Diz o Que Eu Vou Fazer' that got some attention in Brazilian pop circles.
They put out a few more albums over the next several years, including 'Tudo de Bom' in 2004, 'Amor em Dose Dupla' in 2006, and 'No Ritmo do Meu Coração' in 2008. The lineup changed around a bit during that time, with other musicians like Douglas Silva and Juliano Gonçalves joining at various points.
Lehart, Lima, and Castro remained the core members through most of it, handling vocals and the main instruments. They kept playing the kind of straightforward pop that worked for them on that first record.
