Barbahala

Barbahala formed in 2004 in Pontedera, Italy, with Barbara Errico on vocals, Andrea De Falco on guitar, Carlo Alberto on bass, and Andrea Pachetti on drums. Their music pulls from alternative rock and post-punk, with a touch of experimental electronics that gives it a slightly unsettled feel. They put out their first album in 2007, simply called "Barbahala."

In 2013, they released the song "(in)certo," which became their most recognized track. It's built around a haunting melody and lyrics that circle uncertainty and vulnerability, delivered with Errico's ethereal vocals. The band has also recorded other songs like "A Festa" and "Decifrar Sonhos."

Barbahala's discography includes four albums: "Barbahala" (2007), "Translucido" (2010), "In(certo)" (2013), and "Vuoto" (2019). Their sound doesn't fit neatly into one category, and they've drawn comparisons to acts like Sonic Youth and Joy Division for their moody, introspective approach.
