Once upon a time, not long ago, I met this girl

It wasn't the right time, but she looked like a friend of mine

Delighted by her look and her hair of cinnamon

Oh, I didn't understand how she could be alone

I can see a movie replaying in my mind

I remember the colors and everything we talked about

I didn't ask her number, I just let it flow

I was sure that one day I would show up in her town

And how she reappeared I still don't know

Texting me right after we just met

So I asked her out, or did it she? I'm not so sure

And when I remember that we walked side by side

Was it a superstition? Did we live in a lie?

Then I realized that my intuition was right
