Barlow formed in 2001 with Adam Johnson on vocals, Ben Davies on guitar, and James Carter on drums. Their first album, "In the Shadow of Doubt," came out in 2003 and included the single "Walk Away." They put out two more albums, "The Edge of Reason" in 2005 and "Lost in Time" in 2008. The band went through some changes, with Johnson leaving in 2009 and Ethan Reynolds stepping in as the new singer. They kept making music after that, but the lineup shift meant things sounded a bit different.
