Batmetal formed in Finland in 2015 around vocalist and guitarist Janne Manninen, bassist Mikko Salovaara, and drummer Jaakko Nieminen. The band took its name from the Batman franchise, mixing heavy metal with horror themes.
Their debut album 'Vampires of Rock 'n' Roll' came out the same year they formed. They followed it with 'Batmetal Forever' in 2018, which included the track 'Batmetal Forever'.
