Many years ago in a land far away

Lived the son of a wellknown king

Nearly a child he was tought how to fight

And soon he knew how to fling

As a very young boy in the cast of the warriors

He was held in respect

He trained all day and after a while

The wooden block was wrecked

The fighters were all living in the night

Their kicking legs and their flashing hands

are faster than light

A dragon on their arms and you knew

That they came from Shaolin

Were no man could get in

The people who tried are but a few

In the middle of the night on their own

Their only delight was a ten-men's fight

They spared not a leg not a bone

He'd become a priest searching for the truth

But he waited till he was fullgrown

And as a middle-aged man he went away

And started a life on his own

The road was long and the weather was raw

He took the impregnable mount

And he reached Shaolin as a very strong man

Tough he had been living as a hound

And the fighters were all living in the night

Their kicking legs and their flashing hands

are faster than light

A dragon on their arms and you knew

That they came from Shaolin

Were no man could get in

The people who tried are but a few

In the middle of the night on their own

Their only delight was a ten-men's fight

They spared not a leg not a bone

Solo Eddy

Solo both

To become one of them you enter the temple

On your way for some real hot stuff

Snakes and spiders, fire and traps

Life out there is rough

But if you make it till the end, you lift up your hands

On your arms appears a tattoo

The secrets of the temple and the dragon of Shaolin

It all belongs to you

And the fighters are all living in the night

Their kicking legs and their flashing hands

are faster than light

A dragon on their arms and you knew

That they came from Shaolin

Were no man could get in

The people who tried are but a few

In the middle of the night on their own

Their only delight was a ten-men's fight

They spared not a leg not a bone
