In the ancient times of Nosgoth the Pillars were built to prevent the Hildens from entering the material realm. To each of the nine Pillars was assigned one guardian with duty to take care of the Pillar and the Balance. The Hildern lord Hash'Ak'Gik managed to escape from demonic realm into the Nosgoth and murdered the guardian of Balance, Ariel.

After seeing his beloved one dead, Nuprator, the guardian of Mind went insane and infected the other guardians with his insanity. The corrupted guardians have to be stopped at all cost!

Vorador:

In ancient times the Nine were called,

So the Balance again could be restored,

Pillars themselves chose the Nine,

Summoned to prevent the end of time

Two nations devoured the world,

Flames of hatred in Nosgoth burned,

From the ashes of dismal land

Pillars rose to bring balance again

Banished to demonic realm,

In eternal darkness the Hyldens dwell,

Together with my sons I ruled

Until Pillars were to humans turned.

The guardians have proven weak,

And gave will to serve Hash'ak'gik

They crumble under the Dark Lord

Ariel; dead by his sword

For this death my children were blamed

Hunted down like beasts we became

Nuprator his love had lost

Once a nobleman, now became a ghost

Such mighty mind suffered in his pain,

Once a reason, now sickness became,

The Circle of Nine began to break,

Armageddon, a new Nosgoth's fate

To prevent the end the guardians were destroyed

A new Scion was found to fill out the void

Chorus:

Upon this land rose a shadow of war,

Pillars of Nosgoth soon will fall

So many lives fed the hunger of war,

Without Guardians Pillars will fall

All of my children, swallowed by the war,

For all this pain, humans shall fall!

The war is at hand

We must hunt them all

Salvation for Nosgoth is drawing near

Our race endured the pain for all evil humans have done

Nuprator's madness affected us all

His love now long lost

The war is at hand

We must win at all cost
