BBE was a London-based band formed in 1992, with Benjamin Burrell on vocals and keyboards, Bernard Alexander on bass, and David Woolston on drums. Their debut album 'Seven Days and One Week' came out in 1996, featuring the title track that became their most recognizable song.
They released several more albums including 'Twice as Nice' in 1999 and 'The Awakening' in 2001. In 2004, they had a legal dispute with Stax Records over copyright claims that was settled out of court.
Their catalog continued with albums like 'Pause' in 2004, 'Surrender' in 2008, 'The Odyssey' in 2012, and 'Genesis' in 2019.
