Beder Musicologo

Beder Musicologo came out of Granada, Spain, mixing flamenco with pop and electronic touches. Their song "Arrepentida" got attention early on, and another track, "Me Descuidaste," also became part of their set. Some listeners thought they were straying too far from traditional flamenco, but they kept working with those hybrid sounds anyway.

They put out a debut album called "Origen" in 2012, which had "Arrepentida" on it. Later records like "Vértigo" (2015) and "Evolución" (2018) pulled in hip-hop, reggae, and Arabic melodic ideas, then shifted toward a more straightforward pop approach. The group included Beder Benyamara on vocals, David Navarro on guitar, and Sergio Lozano on bass.

Their music didn't settle into one lane. They moved between flamenco phrasing, electronic production, and pop structures, which drew a crowd that liked the blend. The writing tended to lean introspective, delivered with a direct, earnest vocal style.
