Bedrock

Bedrock is an electronic music project from England that started in the late 1990s. It's essentially the collaboration between DJs Nick Warren and John Digweed, who were already established figures in London's club scene by that point. They put out their first album in 1999.

Their track 'For What You Dream Of' is probably their best-known piece. The music tends to work in that space between ambient textures, house rhythms, and progressive trance, which was a fairly common blend in that era but they handled it with a particular atmospheric touch.

There was some noise around 2004 about their track 'Heaven Scent' and accusations of plagiarism, though that eventually got sorted out. Warren and Digweed have kept the project going as their main creative outlet together since the beginning.
