Bedroom Heroes were an indie rock band from London that formed in the early 2000s. The group featured vocalist and guitarist Rafael Scott, bassist Oliver Smith, and drummer James Harvey. Scott's falsetto and songwriting gave their music its particular character.
They released three albums, starting with their 2004 debut 'Embers and the Night After.' That record's title track became their best-known song, and it set the tone for their atmospheric, melancholic sound. They followed it with 'Cemetery Hearts' in 2006 and 'The Silent City' in 2009.
The band dealt with some difficulties, including Scott's personal struggles and a dispute with their record label over creative direction. Bedroom Heroes broke up in 2010. Songs like 'End Song' and 'In Twilight' still surface in playlists, keeping a modest corner of their catalog alive for listeners who connected with their mood.
