You left the milk

The bread, the butter by their beds

Because tomorrow, you'll be gone

What have I done?

I’ve left my life

And I'm out here on the run

From the people that I love

And I watch your breath

As it frosts the glass

You write a message that will never last

And say that it'll always be this way

But you've been lead astray,

Right from the start

I found solace in other's arms

I never meant to cause you any harm

Your heart hangs heavy on my mind

Forget me when I'm gone

For the skies, the skies won’t have me

And I am turning into dust

Beneath your feet

These stairs have carried

The soles of many men

Who've called on god

To right their wrongs

But let live me long

So I must live with all that I have done

Until my days come closing in

Your breath on my skin

Each night the same

The wicked get no rest

And those crashing clouds they call my name

My work is black

Oh what a weight
