Their debut album 'O Homem Invisível' came out in 1979, and its track 'Em Sonho' became a national hit. The band's sound mixed rock and folk with Brazilian popular music, and their lyrics sometimes drew from writers like Fernando Pessoa.
They released several albums including 'Em Sonho' in 1981 and 'O Grande Circo Místico' in 1988. Songs like 'Um Dia Ainda Me Mato' and 'Às Vezes' show their introspective side. The lineup changed at times, but they kept recording through the 1980s.
Some of their material drew criticism from conservative groups, particularly the song 'O Velho Marinheiro.' Jorge Davidson's personal struggles with substance abuse and mental health were also reported in the press. They worked through these challenges while maintaining a dedicated following in Brazil.
