Benny Troy was a musical collective active in the 1970s. They released their debut album, 'I Wanna Give You Tomorrow,' in 1976, which featured the song of the same name. The group included vocalist and songwriter Benny Reed, guitarist Troy Miller, bassist Simon James, and drummer David Hayes.
They followed up with a second album called 'Echoes of Eternity' in 1978. The band faced some difficulties, including a legal dispute over music rights that halted new releases for a time. Benny Reed also struggled with substance abuse, which affected the group's activity.
In 1985, Benny Reed disappeared. The circumstances remain unclear. A collection of unreleased material, 'The Lost Tapes,' came out in 2005. Their song 'I Wanna Give You Tomorrow' is what most people remember.
