Benton Falls

Benton Falls formed in Los Angeles in the early 2000s. Their 2004 debut album 'All These Things' gave the band its first real attention, with the title track getting some alternative radio play. The record had a raw, emotional quality that felt direct and unpolished.

Frontman Jake Scott wrote lyrics that dealt with difficult personal territory, which sometimes drew criticism for being too intense. Songs like 'Always Behind A Smile' and 'Beneath the Ashes And Lies' continued in that vein of introspective writing.
