Wübbecke's recording of "Funkerlied" became well-known in Germany. Some listeners felt the song honored radio operators, while others thought it might glorify war. He kept performing it anyway.
He put out an album called "Funkerlieder" in 1980. Beyond that, there isn't much concrete detail about his later work or how long the band stayed together.
