Berry John's debut single "Your Love Amazes Me" introduced their sound in the late 1990s. The song's straightforward arrangement and clear vocal delivery found an audience without much industry fuss. They followed it with tracks like "Change My Mind" and "A Mind Of Her Own," which kept to similar territory, mid-tempo, relationship-focused material that worked on country radio at the time.

Their first album was called Love's Symphony. It did well enough to justify a couple more records, Unveiled and Awakening, though none of them broke through in a major way. The band lineup included John Berry on vocals, Mary Jane on various instruments, Peter Stone on guitar, and Anna Rose on drums. They played together steadily for a few years, putting out songs like "Everybody Knows" and "Everytime My Heart Calls Your Name" that fit comfortably within the adult contemporary format.

After the initial run, things quieted down. The music from that period still turns up on playlists and occasional radio spins, mostly the early singles. There wasn't a dramatic breakup or comeback story, just a band that made some records, played some shows, and then moved on to other things.
