Louis Bertignac

Louis Bertignac was born in Paris in 1954. In the early 1970s, he formed the band Téléphone with Jean-Louis Aubert, Richard Kolinka, and Corine Marienneau. The group became known for its raw energy during that period.

After Téléphone disbanded in 1986, Bertignac began working as a solo artist. His 1988 album "Les Innocents" included the song "L'amour interdit," which became a hit on French radio. Other tracks from his catalog include "Solenzara" and "22m²."

Bertignac has continued to record and perform over the decades, maintaining a presence in French rock music without the dramatic claims sometimes attached to his story.
