Inside those walls of ice, whispers unheard.

Footsteps of mine, carving new worlds.

Stumbling in all, remains of the old.

Fragments of a world, never own,

A world lost to men,

The cold bleak and pale

As it descends upon my spirit

I will face the mirror; the reflection in the frozen lake

I am forced to remain,

On the path to this moor

The wind tears at our being,

Ice creaks in my bones

Skin splits in the-wind blow

As I drudge through the endless snow,

Breathe, cold whispers, messages of the end

Ice winds cannot stop the creatures who follow,

Cold cannot break their leather rock skin,

These will destroy our spirit,

These will dull our inner strength.

Maim our very being,

Drag us to the earth from once we came,

Entrance appeared to the mountains,

Beyond our sights; endless black stone

As we descend the terrible steps,

Steps of the abolished, the ancient

Hallways of tedium, shrieking no end,

Hands of the pale, touched with every step.

As this world envelopes,

I am one of the lost,

Yet this is my home,

Here I belong

Pinhead light all that is known,

Calls from the unseen world,

Caressing me with the pale cold,

Guiding me through masses of dark walls,

Stumbling on the shards of the tortured past.

This kingdom is not mine,

I am not welcome

I have not belonged,

But here I must stay
