Bianca Mello

Bianca Mello grew up in Salvador, Bahia, where she was surrounded by samba, reggae, and axé rhythms. She wrote her first song when she was eight years old. Her debut album, "Pai," came out in 2019 and mixed soul, pop, and Brazilian sounds. She followed it with "Corpo" in 2021 and "Praia" in 2023.

Her songs often touch on personal struggles she's talked about publicly, like depression and an abusive relationship. Tracks like "Me Imagine Sem Você" and "Como Explicar" reflect that direct approach. She also writes about social issues including racism and gender inequality, which has drawn both support and criticism.

On stage and in the studio, she works with a band that includes drummer Thiago Oliveira, bassist Rafael Barreto, keyboardist Luana Oliveira, and guitarist Pedro Sampaio. Her music, including songs such as "Maravilhoso" and "Faraó Ou Deus?," keeps a focus on Brazilian rhythms while dealing with heavy themes in plain language.
