Big Deal

Big Deal formed in London around 2009 with Kacey Underwood and Alice Costelloe on vocals and guitar, later adding Chris Chalmers on bass and Jamie Morrison on drums in 2014. They released their debut EP and album, both titled 'Lights Out,' through Fat Cat Records in 2013 and 2014. The band followed up with albums like 'June Gloom' in 2016 and 'Erratic Cinematic' in 2019.

Their music often leans into atmospheric indie rock with a focus on melody and introspective lyrics. Songs like 'Don't Forget' from 'June Gloom' capture a mood of longing with its ethereal sound, while tracks such as 'Dream Machines' and 'Golden Light' from their catalog show their range within that style. They built a following through live performances and critical attention rather than major commercial pushes.
