I been smoking bourbon in a shotgun shack

watching dirty windows rain bleeds thru the cracks

sitting on some rusty springs that someone called a bed

I'm glad to be alive but can't feel my head

I just stopped in here to catch my breath

now I cannot breathe with all this racking in my chest

I heard I got the sickness and that may be so

but I gotta find that road - I gotta go

I would try to get outside if I could stand
