Archive material and source history
Bili Sertanejo started in the late 1990s when three friends from Catalão, Goiás, Bruno César, Danimar, and Alessandro, began mixing traditional sertanejo music with electronic beats. Their debut single "O Bailão" came out in 2001 and caught on quickly, helping define what people started calling sertanejo eletrônico.
They put out albums like "Bili Sertanejo" in 2001, "No Balanço do Sofrimento" in 2003, and later releases including a live recording in 2007 and an acoustic project in 2010. Not everyone in the sertanejo scene liked their electronic take at first, but they kept at it.
Songs like "Celular Atenda" show how they blended those two sounds. The band's lineup has changed some over time, with Bruno César still involved.
