Bird formed in 2004 with Chihiro Nishizawa on vocals, Kazuya Takase on guitar, Masayuki Nakano on bass, and Kazuki Isogai on drums. Their debut album was called 'Aijou.' In 2009, Nishizawa was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, which led the band to pause their activities for a time.
Their song 'Kore Ga Watashi No Yasashi Sa Desu' became particularly well-known. Other tracks like '4PM' and 'Clay' appear in their catalog.
