So cold I could not feel my toes

And I see that a winter approaches

Heralded by sirens instead of snow

Children at play

In the fields of the lord

Trying to punch god in the face

And say you love him

Trying to sell a crippled wife

As an alibi

The skies of america seem to darken each week

Deafened by the clatter of a sinking ship.

Helicopters every night over washington

And youy don't know if military

Or if civilian

And you don't know it's the coming

Of armageddon

There's a thousand men in uniforms

A thousand men with guns

They make a sound like...
