Black Lodge formed in Høyanger, Norway in 1993 around Snorre Ruch on vocals and keyboards and Bjørn Tore Medhus on guitars. They were joined by Espen Andersen on bass and Morten Asklund on drums. Their first album, 'Fluorescent Black,' came out the following year in 1994.
Their 1997 album 'Vertigo' included the track 'Cube,' which became one of their better-known songs. The band's lineup changed in the early 2000s, with Andersen and Asklund leaving. Other songs in their catalog include 'Dissonance,' 'Mortal,' 'Mother Urge,' and 'Tower Inertia.'
