Their debut album 'No Sleep Till Tomorrow' came out on Atlantic Records in 1990, and the single 'Too Much, Too Many' from that record reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Their sound mixed hard rock, punk, and electronica, and they kept experimenting on their self-titled 1992 album. They also had songs like 'Blood, Sweat, And Beer' and 'Drinkalong' in their catalog.
By 1995 they'd released a third album called 'The Loving Touch.' Their lyrics and stage shows sometimes drew criticism, and they worked with hip-hop artists at a time when that wasn't common in rock circles.
