Blink-182 formed in Poway, California in 1992 with Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, and Scott Raynor. Their early albums like 1995's "Cheshire Cat" and 1997's "Dude Ranch" established their pop-punk sound, but it was 1999's "Enema of the State" that broke them into the mainstream with songs like "All The Small Things" and "What's My Age Again?"

In 1998, Raynor was replaced by Travis Barker, whose drumming gave the band a more aggressive edge. Their 2003 self-titled album included "I Miss You," a departure from their usual upbeat style that showed their range. The band went on hiatus in 2005, with DeLonge pursuing other projects while Hoppus and Barker formed +44.

They reunited in 2014 and have since released several albums including "California" in 2016 and "Nine" in 2019, which featured the single "I Really Wish I Hated You." Their catalog spans from the straightforward punk of their early work to more textured production in later releases.
