Bliss was a band that formed in 1982 with Robert Smith, Simon Gallup, Laurence Tolhurst, and Porl Thompson. Their debut album 'Sixteen O'Clock People' came out in 1986, and its single 'I Hear You Call' became a hit. Tolhurst left the band in 1989.
They kept recording through the 1990s, putting out albums like 'Disintegration' and 'Wild Mood Swings'. Other songs from that time include 'May It Be On This Earth' and 'Wish You Were Here'.
By 2018, keyboardist Roger O'Donnell and drummer Jason Cooper had also left the band. Their catalog includes earlier work like 'Seventeen Seconds' from 1987 and later material such as 'Bloodflowers' from 2000.
