Blitz formed in Rio de Janeiro in 1982 with Evandro Mesquita on vocals. They released albums steadily through the '80s and into the '90s, like 'Totalmente Demais' in 1988 and 'As Novas Aventuras da Blitz' in 1994. The lineup shifted, but Mesquita stayed at the center.
