Blood Incantation

Blood Incantation formed in Denver, Colorado, with Paul Riedl on vocals and guitar, Morris Kolontyrsky on guitar, Jeff Barrett on bass, and Aaron Homma on drums. Their 2016 debut album 'Starspawn' established their sound in the underground metal scene, followed by 'Hidden History of the Human Race' in 2019 and 'Timewave Zero' in 2022.

Their songs often explore cosmic horror themes and speculative ancient history. 'The Giza Power Plant' imagines the pyramids as an extraterrestrial power source, while 'Awakening From The Dream Of Existence To The Multidimensional Nature Of Our Reality (Mirror Of The Soul)' and 'Slave Species Of The Gods' continue their fascination with occult mysticism and alternative theories about human origins.

The artwork for 'Hidden History of the Human Race' featured a symbol from a Nazi concentration camp, which the band later acknowledged was insensitive and unintentionally offensive. They expressed regret about this imagery.
