Bo Bice

Bo Bice was born in Huntsville, Alabama in 1975. He first gained attention in 2005 as a contestant on the fourth season of American Idol, where he finished as runner-up to Carrie Underwood. His performance of 'The Real Thing' during the competition became one of his better-known songs.

After American Idol, Bice released several albums including The Real Thing in 2005, See the Light in 2007, and Hymns for the Broken in 2010. He's continued performing with a band that includes guitarist Jason Miller, bassist John Keith, and drummer Tim Masterson.

His music draws from Southern rock and blues influences, with songs like 'Brown Skin Girl' and 'Different Shades Of Blue' showing that soulful rock style. He's maintained a presence on the touring circuit since his television appearance, working with the same core group of musicians for much of that time.
