Boa voz

Boa Voz formed in São Paulo in the early 2000s with Fernando Anitelli on vocals, Marcos Valle on guitar, Rodrigo Tavares on bass, and Felipe Simas on drums. They put out their first album, "Tudo o Que Você Quiser Ouvir," in 2005, but it was their second record two years later that really connected with people.

That 2007 album was named after its title track, "Mariana," a ballad that became their signature song. It's the one most people know them for, a straightforward piece about lost love that found a wide audience in Brazil.

After that, they kept making music, eventually releasing five studio albums in total. Their sound leaned on Anitelli's clear, strong voice and Valle's guitar work, sticking to a melodic pop-rock style that worked for them.
