Jeff Bodart

Jeff Bodart was a Belgian singer-songwriter who worked in French pop. He started with the band Boulevard in the 1970s, and their song 'Que Des Mots' became a hit. His writing tended toward melancholy, with titles like 'Ca Valait La Peine Que Je Naisse' and 'Ce Qui Me Retient' reflecting that tone.

He released albums over several decades, including 'Les Mots Bleus' in 1977 and 'Le Piano Dans La Tête' in 1984. Later records like 'La Solitude' from 1993 and 'Les Voix Du Temps' from 2005 showed he kept writing into the 2000s. He often worked with musicians like guitarist Yves Carbonne and bassist Michel Graillier.
